Adding fabric/PAR to the back of a timing belt is not primarily for noise reduction. In certain special conveying applications, increasing the friction on the back of the timing belt is essential to meet production requirements. This added friction effectively prevents slippage, reduces the risk of pollution, and ensures secure product transportation.
There are two fabric options available for this purpose: fine cloth and coarse cloth. Each type provides varying levels of friction and protection, allowing for customization based on specific operational needs.
